SUMMARY
In life, there exists a privilege to conceal things and it’s your privilege to discover them. No one can discover the height of heaven, the depth of the earth or all that goes on in your mind. However, if you remove obstacles and irrelevancies that come your way, you will be able to rightfully craft your trade & be able to master, rule and subdue over the universe and/or desired jurisdiction with wisdom. Wisdom that will enable you to know that timely advice and valid criticism is always treasured by the one who needs it. Wisdom that will enable you to learn to never demand for an audience and/or push for a place among the great. You should rather wait to be invited instead of being sent to the end of the line in public disgrace. And just because you see something, don’t be in a rush to seek for justice as you may end up going down before your neighbours in shameful defeat. It is prudent to try to discuss the matter privately without informing everyone else as others may accuse you of gossip. Gossip that will make you to never regain your honour. In addition, falsehood is harmful to the one whom the falsehood is being propagated against. It is prudent for you to understand that faithful messengers revive the spirit of their originator while a person who does not give a promised gift becomes a liar. That is why; placing confidence in an unreliable person is vanity whereas attempting to make someone whose heart is heavy to be in a jovial mood only exacerbates that person’s situation. Fortunately, patience can persuade the great while soft speech can crush strong opposition. If your enemies are hungry, give them food to eat. If they are thirsty, give them water to drink. You will heap burning coals on their heads and the Most High will reward you. Remember, it is better to live in solitude than to live and/or associate with contentious people as every action always comes with a corresponding reaction. Never compromise your mission, vision, cause and honour with pollutants. That is why in everything that you do, do it in moderation and not in perpetuity. And just as everything has to be undertaken in moderation, it is likewise not good for you to think about all the honours that you deserve. To sum it all up, anyone who lacks self-control is always as defenceless as an unguarded territory. This book contains a collection of advices by Alfred Mbati. Most People’s Dreams, Ideas, Mission, Vision and Legacy usually end with them. They never realize that all the aforementioned can still exist long after they are gone. That is, when they Die, Resign or Retire. For example, Children are a living message that we transmit to the future (where we shall not be able to exist). Based on their upbringing, they can either represent you or misrepresent you in their endeavours. The way you Build, Nurture or Rehabilitate someone or something will determine if the person / thing will be there for a long time or for a short time. Foundations usually Make or Break a System / Dynasty. The choice is yours to decide on what you want. If you are comfortable with the status quo, so be it. If you feel like you need to create a niche for yourself that is self-sustaining and that will enable you to create & leave behind a legacy, so be it. It is up to you to figure out how to make a Name for yourself while creating a positive Brand Image or to tarnish your Name and Brand Image. After all, choices have consequences. Are you ready to live with the consequences? The abilities of successful people and abilities of failures do not vary greatly. It is their desires to reach their potential that varies and enables them to be either successful or not. You should therefore be very cautious on the urge to want more wealth / success, the wealthier you become. If you do not control the urge and obsession of adding more zeros to your finances, you will end up being a miser and stingy person. In the end, your life will be more miserable instead of being joyous.
You cannot have everything / everyone for yourself forever. If you do not watch out, you will spend the rest of your life chasing after money and success, only to have it but no life to live. Remember, life is too short to be a spectator. Live your life to the fullest and enjoy / cherish every moment of it, albeit with a little restraint. It is always easier to avoid someone or something disastrous in the moment, unlike disentangling yourself from its mess later on. Most people will endeavour to undertake a Detailed Research before getting a loan to buy a state of the art commodity or software that they do not really need. Like wisely, they tend to ignore undertaking a Detailed Research in educating themselves about Savings, Investing or the Basics of Life. You cannot help them. However, the way you raise your children or your upbringing really matters. Proper education can turn out to be controlled information that can either be accurate or misleading. Sometimes you need to doubt it in order to keep such beliefs in check. A child may be raised up in a strict manner that instils discipline and independence in them from the onset of his / her life. The Parent or Guardian will mostly be giving actionable instructions or instructions through actions. Such a child will always be alert and attentive as anything can happen at any time.
He or she will be required to learn to do things on his / her own while the Parents or Guardians will undertake a supervisory & Coordinating role by checking if all has been done or fulfilled as expected or not. As a result, the child will be raised up as an all rounded person and will be expected to always live in self-sustenance. Another child may be brought up in a manner where he or she is being constantly pampered and is always dependent on others to have things done / matters resolved. Such a child may be exposed to the best / better options or choices of expectations to select from. Such a child will grow up seeking attention at all times, as s/he loves attention. This attention seeking fiasco will be worse to the extent that the child’s parents must do whatever that it is that they are doing to meet the child’s desires or expectations. The child will therefore appear to be the parent’s only source of daily livelihood and the parent’s master. These children will soon grow up and the pampered child may fall in love with the child who was strictly raised up by his / her parents. The two will then marry and the marriage drama will begin as these two children have incompatible upbringings and expectations in life. The other marriage party will not like the way his / her partner behaves but they both have to accept and live with their differences. In most cases, the pampered child needs to undergo training to live the way the strictly raised child was trained to live to embetter the way they live / operate. Such couples have to endure and accommodate their differences in upbringing to the end in spite of the odds. More so, as their marriage was not arranged but they met on their own volition. One partner shall therefore take charge since the other partner is weak. The dominant partner will have to take charge without fear or favour, as the weak partner is a burden that s/he brought upon himself or herself. Something that s/he has to learn to live with.
When a child is young, s/he is usually very smart intellectually. This intellectual smartness ends up dwindling as they age due to incessant influence from negative energy parties, entities or environments. The negativity influence of being constantly reminded that you cannot do, cannot go and cannot become mostly causes a person to shut down. You should focus on who you are instead of wasting yourself, focusing on who you are not. To be content with where you are, imagine yourself living the way the other person who does not have that which you have lives. You need to get along happily in life, whether you have little or much. You should also be able to know how to live on almost nothing at your disposal or with everything at your disposal. Learn how to live in every situation, whether you are satisfied, hungry, with plenty, or little. Relationships are more important to you than money. We are meant for each other and need each other. We always become better by learning from the counsel and/or deeds of others / deeds that we do for others. Avoid using people to get things; you should however use things to bless people. Therefore, do not be emotionally clueless and unavailable to spend quality time with your family / friends because you are too busy acquiring wealth.
If you do so, those people who will make you wealthy will get the best of you, your acquaintances will get the rest of you as you have to be with them in the process of acquiring wealth while your family / friends will get the leftovers of you as you deem them as being irrelevant or useless to you.
Is your job wasting your life or enabling you to make the best of your life?
If you hate what you do and yet you are spending much of your life doing it, find another way to make money. If you have to reinvent yourself into that which you always wanted to be in spite of the responsibilities, do it. Do not waste your time on irrelevancies. You should instead explore your own opportunities or chances in life while being content with what you have & where you are. …
